Om tilskuddet
If your building lacks EV charging, you can apply for support to upgrade or build charging infrastructure so residents can charge at home. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
- Up to 30% of eligible investment costs, capped at NOK 8,000 per charging point.
- Maximum total grant: NOK 2,000,000.
- Housing co‑ops, condominium associations and related garage associations in Oslo can apply.
- Private individuals, public entities and parking‑space rental companies cannot apply.
- Buildings under construction cannot apply.
- You must apply and receive approval before ordering materials/services or signing contracts. If you need a grid assessment, you may consult an external advisor before applying.
- Electrical work must be confirmed by an authorised installer.
- External advisory and design costs may be included as eligible costs.
- Only fixed installations owned by the co‑op/condo are eligible.
- The grant does not cover the individual charging box on each parking space.
- Attach a supplier quote that lists the charging infrastructure costs.
- The grant must trigger the project. Do not start work until you have approval.
- Upgrading a transformer station is not covered. In many cases, load‑management systems make a transformer upgrade unnecessary, and these are covered.
